Rules of Play
To help keep Curious Little Ones safe, clean and enjoyable for everyone, we kindly ask all visitors to follow the rules below.
1. Children must be supervised at all times.
All children must remain under the care and supervision of their accompanying parent, carer or guardian (aged 18+). Our team are not responsible for supervising children during your visit.
2. We work hard to provide a safe environment.
We take every reasonable care to maintain a clean, secure and safe play space. Children use the play facilities, toys and equipment under the supervision and responsibility of their accompanying adult.
3. Please report accidents, injuries or hazards immediately.
Any accident, injury, damaged equipment or safety concern must be reported to a member of staff straight away.
4. Kind and respectful behaviour is expected.
Aggressive, abusive, unsafe or disruptive behaviour from children or adults will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave without refund and may refuse future bookings.
5. Shoes must be removed in the play area.
Outdoor shoes are not permitted in the play space for adults or children. Socks must be worn at all times. If you forget socks, we have socks available to purchase at the counter.
6. No food or drink in the play area.
To help keep our toys, equipment and play areas clean for everyone, we kindly ask that food and drinks remain in the café/seating area and are not taken into the play space.
7. Please do not bring outside food or drink onto the premises.
Only food and drinks purchased on site may be consumed during your visit. Exceptions may be made for baby food/formula or specific dietary and allergy requirements. Please speak to a member of staff if needed.
8. Allergy awareness.
We do our best to be allergy aware and to support families where possible. However, food is prepared in a shared environment and we cannot guarantee the absence of allergens or cross-contamination.
9. Please do not attend if unwell.
We understand that children can become unwell unexpectedly and that this can be disappointing. If a child or adult in your party is showing signs of illness, please do not visit. Please contact us regarding your booking as early as possible.
10. Session times must be respected.
Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your session unless advised otherwise. We clean and reset the space between sessions, so we are unable to admit visitors early. At the end of your session, we kindly ask that you leave promptly so we can prepare for the next group.
11. Bookings are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.
Transfers or rescheduling may be offered with sufficient notice, subject to our Booking & Cancellation Policy.
12. We may close sessions when necessary.
For health, safety or operational reasons, Curious Little Ones reserves the right to close or cancel sessions. Where this happens, an alternative session or refund will be offered.
13. Please keep an eye on your belongings.
While we do our best to maintain a welcoming environment, personal belongings remain the responsibility of their owner during your visit.
14. Please take care with photos and videos.
You are welcome to photograph your own children, but please be mindful of other families’ privacy and avoid capturing other children where possible.
15. No smoking or vaping.
Smoking, vaping and e-cigarettes are not permitted anywhere inside the premises.
16. Please respect our toys and equipment.
All props, toys and dress-up items remain the property of Curious Little Ones and must stay on site. We kindly ask all visitors to help look after the equipment so everyone can continue to enjoy it.
17. Recommended age guidance.
Our play space is designed mainly for children aged 6 and under. If older children attend, we kindly ask that they respect the younger children and play environment.
18. Non-walking baby offer.
Babies aged 6 months and under may attend free of charge only when accompanying a full-paying older sibling. This offer is intended for siblings only and may not be used for friends, cousins or separate bookings.
19. Lead booker responsibility.
If a booking is made on behalf of others, the person making the booking is responsible for ensuring all members of the party are aware of these rules.
